The Story
The journey's just begun. Amelia and Tyler have landed in Agadir — met by your narrators Moustachfa, the most hospitable man in Morocco, and Jonny, an English pianist straight from the Savoy. The mint tea pours, the souk shuffles and adventures unfold across Morocco's great cities. Twenty-two songs. And a pigeon on a fez. Yalla!

Moustachfa - Morocco's most enthusiastic ambassador. Jonny the London Pianist who came straight from the Savoy for one show, and now can't bear to leave.

Amelia
Amelia came to Morocco looking for something, notebook in hand, and Morocco seems to gently guide her just where to look.

Tyler

Jimmy Khalid
His tourist name is Jimmy, (He chose it because he thinks it's funny). His real name is Khalid. Friend of the fishes, and your guide to the best places in Morocco!

Gloria
Came to Agadir for 6 weeks, 15 years ago. Sings Gospel, sings Motown, sings Jazz, and knows just how to make Moustachfa blush!

Aunt Fatima
Aunt Fatima has been right about everything since 1974. Doesn't believe in tourist names.

Naima
Amazigh woman, wife of Jimmy Khalid. Carries the ancient knowledge of Argan Oil & Moroccan Beauty Rituals.

The Mischief Makers
Illyas is 8 and as an Atlas Lions Fan sees it as his duty to get Jonny to understand the offside rule. Tornado Ali is 1 - and somehow always eating a date.

The Digital Nomads
Bazza - the shoeless Australian surfer. Sophie - the French Art Director. Hans the German Hiking Enthusiast. Morag the Scottish retiree who brings teacakes in bulk.

The Gnawa Master
Maallem Mohamed Montari and his son Bacha Hamou. The Guembri (lute) and the Qraqeb (iron castanets). Hundreds of years of tradition playing spiritual Moroccan music (Gnawa) for your delight.

Gnawa Musicians
Traditional Oud, Violin, Percussion, Guembri (3 stringed bass lute) - the heartbeat of the show - Moroccan beats with West African roots.

The Berber Shop Choir
Hotel waiters, who are also a choir. The singing is extraordinary and the mint tea is poured from a masterful height!

The Gospel Choir
West African Gospel in a Catholic Church, in a Muslim City on the Atlantic Coast of North Africa. Completely magical: that's Morocco.

The Acrobats
A troupe of talented acrobats who perform on Agadir promenade - their speciality is flipping!

The Caregivers
Grandma makes the couscous, sees everything & refills your bowl. The Kessalas (the hammam scrubbers) Khadija & Youssef. Abdul the Maître d' pours mint tea & sympathy in Rick's Cafe.

The Traders
Baba Solo sells small golden Bananas that you've never tasted before. ChiChi - for 20 Dirhams serves you the world's best sardines. Ayoub who'll fit your Fez in under 4 minutes. Si Mohamed the football cafe owner - penalty!

The Souk Traders
Rashid (Stall 701, Cafe Agadir), Twenty-One Spices he won't write down ground into a magnificent Ras El Hanout. Hamid a pom-pommed water seller with brass cups and zero time for your ring light.

The Keepers of Stories
Hlaiqi - 40 years the storyteller in Marrakech's Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, like his Father before him. The Desert Guides - Amazigh nomads who name the constellations and pour tea under the Milky Way.

The Unexpected Friends
Ibrahim the Guardian Pigeon who got through 3 security doors. Erol the Tortoise who walked in and stayed. Hope the little Silver Cat who turns down fish on principle.
